Ahh... Friday!

Here it is! Friday... again! We have a standing joke in our house lately. Mountain Man will ask me "what day is it tomorrow?" The answer is always, Friday! The weeks have just been flying by so fast it seems like we just blink and Friday is here again. We aren't complaining however...  Just surprised at the passage of time.

Friday, of course, on our little homestead is baking day. Must have goodies for the weekend! Today I will be making scones and cookies but not much else. Well... maybe some biscuits.  I do have a request for pancakes for dinner though instead of pizza. It seems Mountain Man has really taken a liking to my homemade syrups.

It looks like it will be a very good day to heat up the house for baking with the wood stove. The day started out nice and sunny as you can see from the picture below.

But when I panned my camera to the west... Nothing but a wall of clouds. This is the same system that dumped eight inches west of here. One thing I do know, in March the weather can and does change quickly! Well... maybe not just in March..... We shall see what this system brings, but there is a definite chill in the air which makes it a perfect day to stay inside and bake to my little hearts content.
