Well, it has been awhile since the sun decided to spend a day with us but there it is shining brightly. Not sure how long it will last but I have decided to take full advantage of it. We have been busy this past week. I've been doing a lot of spring cleaning and planning for the spring planting while Mountain Man has been busy with all kinds of projects.
We did finish the porch this week... well... It isn't exactly finished as there is still a lot of "finish" work to do but it is usable and we are loving it. No more mud tracking into the house! Yeah! That may not seem like a big deal but out here it sure can be.
Now all we need is some rustic looking chairs to sit on! Not sure if Mountain Man will have time to build them but here's hoping! For now we have some old camping chairs that will work. In fact yesterday when the sun came out we took advantage of it.
Yep! Those are my toes! I can now walk outside in bare feet, well... as far as the edge of the deck anyways. I can't help but love this unusually warm spring weather!

ReplyDeleteGirl, take advantage of the good weather (barefoot) and porch. Our weather has been nasty again, lot's of rain (which we need) and the potential of tornadoes. Tomorrow it's suppose to start looking nice again.
Yay! You're back. I hope that you got your energy issues solved and it wasn't too expensive.
